First share of 2017! I’ve been spending the first weeks of this new year trying to slow everything down! We’ve gotten to week 38 of the pregnancy, so mini 2 can arrive any day now… So not much is happening around here in general, we are stocking up on necessities, this time around I want to have a hospital bag ready for when I go into labour, getting a stroller in the house that will end up fitting both the Bean and Mini 2 (we ended up with the Bugaboo Donkey Weekender – already over the moon with this one), and washing all the old and new baby wear for Mini 2. SUNDAY SHARING
We are at the end of January, and it feels like the right time for the first Sunday Share of 2016. I am soon heading back to work after my lovely maternity leave, so I’ve spent the last couple of weeks tying up some loose ends. I have a job that demands a lot of travel, to be honest, I am not looking forward to that! So far I’ve only been away from the Bean for one night, and it was not my favorite night… So going back to being gone for three and four nights at a time, not to happy. At the same time, it will be refreshing going back to work, having something different to focus on for a change. And between shifts, I do have seven days of off time, which makes it possible for me to be home mum deluxe.
At the same time we are looking into expanding, not the family just yet, our living arrangements. I am craving a house, desperately! So for now, I will use that as an escape from thinking about going back to work!

I’ve been on the move lately, we’ve finally got someone to come in and fix up the kitchen! So as the work has been going on I’ve been spending some time at my parents place. Hoping the work will be done this week, then the pictures will be coming your way! The H is at home taking care of the details with the workers, so I do get some daily hints in the form of images, but I do wish I was there to witness it myself! Can’t wait to start hunting for the smaller details now, cookware galore! And the biggest change will be our new built-in pantry, can’t wait to organize it all!

THURSDAY SHARING
It’s been ages since I posted anything here, so I thought the best way to kick it all off again would be a Sunday Share, just, this time around it’ll be a Thursday Sharing instead. I am hoping to keep my post game going strong from now on, it’s just that life seems to move in high-speed these days. The Bean is growing like some creature from the blue lagoon, and I am doing my best just to keep up with him.
Still trying to figure out how all of these super moms out there make it all hang together, between pristine looking homes, homemade baby food, amazing baking projects and looking travel ready at any time… I am the first one to admit I am running out of time for everything. I do a celebratory dance every time I get to take a shower, or the fact that I have now accepted that some days it will take me 4 hours to vacuum our 69 square meter home, simply because the little one does not want to spend a single minute alone. But still, in the midst of all the chaos I am seeing some patterns developing, a routine is making its way into our life. It took about 5 months, but it is happening!
Despite all the baby mama things going on, I have decided to give myself at least some time every week to focus on this space. Mostly to keep me sane. So I am excited to share a collection of inspiration I’ve gathered lately, hope you enjoy!
