TRAVEL WISH LIST – US CITIES

As I am writing this I am sitting in a hotel room in Bournemouth, enjoying a view of the beach… This time around most of my journey will be connected to staying just there, in the hotel – I’m on a business trip so I do not have the free reins to do exactly what I want to and I am also travelling solo. I prefer travelling with company, to me half of the fun is sharing the trip with someone… But getting away from home is always a bit of a blessing, new scenery kicks the mind into gear and the old scenery is shed in a different light every time I return from somewhere new.

Getting away from the regular routine of life, being in a different country and enjoying my own company for more than the usual 2 hour period has got me thinking of places I want to explore (without the responsibility of work and preferably with someone else), so I’ve gotten back to the fun of creating lists. This time around about places I want to travel to – or as the title says “Travel Wishlist(s)”, the first I want to share with you is my travel wishlist of US cities. The list is pretty long, so I have decided to cut it down to five at a time – so that it doesn’t end up being overfed. And of course, to follow each city will be some visual input, to visually explain my reasons why I want to see these places.

1. Austin

Austin is high on my list of places to visit in general.  There is something attractive about the vibe this city seems to have – just afraid I would want to toss my ticket home out the window and stay for good.

2. Chicago

I would love to see Chicago, why – I do not know. It’s just this faint feeling I’ve got that I would enjoy the city quite a bit. I guess part of it is connected to the name it’s made for it self when it comes to great food – I am a fan of splurging on great food when I travel… So let’s say it’s based on the need for (or more want for) great food experiences.

3. San Francisco

I  simply want to experience this city on my own, I know a lot of people who have fallen head over heels for this place. Want to figure out if I’ll fall in love to.

4. Seattle

Hello Pacific Northwest! I’ll just tell you like this; music, food, nature and city life all huddled into one ball of greatness… This is the “grew-up-by-the-sea” gene looking for what seems like home.

5. Savannah

This one is based upon the pure hope that it is as charming as it looks in images.
