DESIGN CRAVE: NORMANN COPENHAGEN BLOCK TABLE

I have been craving this little side table/trolley for quite some time now… It’s pretty close to the top of my Christmas wishlist this year, maybe I’ll have to get it for myself… It’s by time I start giving myself a gift for Christmas, self-indulgent much?

It is such a versatile piece, and I do love something that I can switch up as my home evolves. At the moment, I would love it as a piece of our kitchen, to store some lovely bits. Like our black cutlery, some nice plates, some bottles of goodness, a little bit of everything really. At the same time, it could just as well do the job as a side table in our living room. Basically, wherever it’s needed, put it to work! My personal favorite is the white and the light gray, would fit perfectly in at home!

Here is some images showing some of the different ways you could use this lovely table…

DESIGN CRAVE: THE FLAGLINE CHAIR

Today I want to share one of my greatest design craves ever, the Hans J. Wegner Flagline Chair… This is at the top of my interior wish list, based on its amazingly futuristic and simplistic design, and the fact that it seems like one of the most comfy loungers out there… If I had the space I would create a great reading nook around this amazing chair, I wouldn’t mind snuggling up with a big lambskin rug and a great book in one of these – then again, who would! At the same time, justifying the price of this piece is a killer though, I would have to end up winning the lottery or find one on auction… I’ll start the {never-ending} hunt!

DESIGN CRAVE – THE CROSS BLANKET BY PIA WALLEN

Today I’ll share a design crave I’ve had for quite some time, the lovely Cross Blanket by Pia Wallen. This is on the crave list based on the simplicity and the graphic presence of the piece. This is a statement piece, yet simplistic and understated. In my eyes it is a win-win type of situation. I would love one for our bedroom and one for the guest bedroom… Putting this on my wishlist! I feel like the perfect way to show the validity my crave is to shower you with visual pleasures, so please do enjoy!

DESIGN CRAVE – THE AJ LAMPS

I have a design crush, and it is the gorgeous AJ lamps from Louis Poulsen, designed by Arne Jacobsen… I’d like it in all its shape and forms! This amazing lamp was designed in 1960 as a part of the design concept for the Radisson Blue Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and has since then turned into a modern design classic. I would absolutely adore a floor lamp for our livingroom… Preferably in black!
